Women's Studies

The
first such conference to be held in the Midwest, the Midwest
Conference on Women's Studies, was sponsored and coordinated
by the RCW in October 1971. Educators who teach or coordinate
courses and programs in women's studies at colleges and
universities in the region met for two days to exchange
experiences, ideas, and resource materials, and to discuss
various approaches to, and aspects of, women's studies.
